“Wayland High’s offense has been operating out of a spread formation with the quarterback in the shotgun, one back alongside and four receivers on the line of scrimmage. This season to key to that offense is the quarterback, junior Dayleon McKenzie. He is strong, speedy and shifty, tough to bring down in the open field, and a decent passer. Despite a strong start, the Warriors could not hold off Bedford as the game went on. On the Warriors’ final possession, McKenzie was hurt as he was tackled while scrambling, thereby ending any chance of a miraculous comeback. McKenzie’s left leg was stabilized and he left the field on a cart.”

“Not really. Turkey does contain tryptophan, an amino acid that's been known to convert to a sleep-regulating transmitter, serotonin. But tryptophan's also in virtually every other animal product, and few eaters consume enough turkey for any true effect to be realized. The real culprit at Thanksgiving supper is the glut of carbohydrate-heavy foods like stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes, and pie, which trigger insulin production and block energy. This "food coma" - along with what's possibly too many glasses of wine — is really to blame.”

“With less than a year before the Senatorial Elections in Massachusetts, we will begin to hear more about the candidates- especially on the Democratic side. While Elizabeth Warren has emerged as the favorite, Wayland resident and State Representative, Tom Conroy is a viable candidate. This fall, several high profile candidates, Alan Khazei, Bob Massie and Setti Warren have all dropped out. The remaining field is comprised of Elizabeth Warren, a pair of lawyers, an engineer, and State Representative Conroy. Interestingly, Conroy has the most experience in elected office of this group.”
